Amsterdam's New Church (Nieuwe Kerk) is a large Protestant Church located in the heart of the Dutch city. It was built in the late 1400s when the Old Church (Oude Kerk) was unable to support Amsterdam's growing population. Over the years, many Dutch Royal Weddings have taken place at Nieuwe Kerk.
